That Hositrad started in 1966, selling in all of Europe Andar Ion-pumps, Electron Beam Ti Sublimation, Hall flanges (compatible to CF) without knife edges, valves, manipulators etc. and in 1968 selling Veeco products: leak detectors, gas analyzers, vacuum evaporators, sputtering systems etc. From 1967 Jacob Tomassen, founder of Hositrad, started to make vacuum chambers and specials. In 1977 UTI Instruments was added to the sales program with High Sensitivity Mass Spectrometers.
Vacuum products:
Hositrad Conflat flanges from CF16 to CF350, all CF flanges are compatible with other manufacturers' standards. For deep vacuum (up to 1-11mbar) and high temperatures (up to 450 ° C) we offer copper gaskets in accordance with relevant standards.
Hositrad KF flanges. They are designed according to International Standards Organisation specifications to be compatible with other manufacturers KF-ISO or NW flange design. Standard materials are stainless steel 304, 316L and aluminum KF flanges, which is easy to disassemble, without special tools. Vacuum seals up to 1*10^-9 mbar, depending on the material.
ISO connections are used for larger pipe diameters. Hositrad ISO flanges are manufactured according to ISO specifications and fully compatible with other manufacturers' standards. There are two types (ISO-K) and screw flange (ISO-F).
For aggressive media we can offer glass type KF Hositrad connectors, unlike steel it is much easier to clean and much more resistant.
